As agreed we will meeting again today, Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 4 pm ET.  There
will be two separate meetings which will have opportunity to come together on
Thursday.  Today, please participate in the meeting in which you feel you can
contribute the most.  Both meetings are very important.  See below.

MEETING on Arecibo 2.0
Help the NAIC staff prepare a White paper on Arecibo 2.0.
Put your expertise behind idea and plans to renovate AO as soon as possible
to provide scientific capabilities and on the longer term to regain and upgrade
its capabilities.  Emphasis is on designing a facility that will rebuild AO’s key
capabilities for planetary radar, atmospheric heating and broad sensitivity for
radio astronomy—and will be in Puerto Rico and probably at the current site.
Identify teams and leaders for different portions of this work
