Dear ASAP Members,
	Please cast your votes using this electronic document <https://forms.gle/riDtdtkqLTQ6nrQ98>.  Please 
vote by 5 pm EDT TODAY, July 22nd.  A strong Board needs EVERY 
ASAP member’s vote, and Arecibo’s future depends in considerable 
measure on a strong, active ASAP Board.  Please read the Board 
candidate’s statements in the pdf below and vote your choices.  If 
you have already voted, many thanks for supporting the ASAP Board!

	Nominations were requested from ASAP members in an earlier email, 
and 15 of your colleagues were nominated and have agreed to stand for 
election to the ASAP Board, seven in Astronomy and four each in Planetary 
and Atmospheric Sciences.

	You will elect two members in each of Arecibo’s three major specialties, 
Astronomy, Planetary and Atmospheric Studies for terms of two or three years 
service on the ASAP Board—and three current ASAP Board members have 
agreed to serve out 1-year terms.  These nine Board members will then be 
joined by representatives from each of the four standing committees: AO 2.0, 
Advocacy/Outreach, NAIC Liaison and Admin/Infrastructure.  Board elections 
would then reccur each year
