		Arecibo Futures - The Legacy Arecibo Telescope as the Prototype (NSF Workshop Team 18 Report)
		Former head of Planetary Radar and Observatory Director at Arecibo Observatory
		Summary:  A new telescope based on the Legacy Arecibo design, 
			applying lessons learned over 57 years of operation, is likely 
			the fastest and least expensive option to regain full scientific 
			productivity and meet the scientific goals of the community.

This event is the second in a series of ASAP “lunchtime” talks/discussions 
exploring issues and proposals pertinent to Arecibo’s future.  A number 
of the early talks will present material developed by working groups in 
the recent NSF Workshop on Arecibo’s Future—but now in more detail 
and with much greater opportunities for questions and discussion.
